Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to read about our treatments, see prices and book, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification, voice control or switch devices.

The standard we work to

This site is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA (opens in a new tab), the benchmark most often referenced in connection with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

We describe the site as partially conformant. We have built to the standard and checked the pages ourselves, but the site has not yet had an independent audit, and we would rather say so plainly than claim a certification we do not hold.

What is in place

Structure and navigation
Pages use real landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer) and a skip link that jumps straight to the main content.
Keyboard use
Menus, the cart, forms and this site's display settings can be operated from the keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
Colour contrast
Our brand teal and bronze do not have enough contrast as small text on our cream background, so text uses darker versions of both.
Images and forms
Informative images carry descriptive alternative text and decorative images are hidden from screen readers. Form fields have labels.
Motion
Decorative animation stops when your device is set to "reduce motion", and you can also turn it off in display settings.

Display settings

The accessibility icon in the footer of every page opens a panel where you can enlarge the text, switch to a higher-contrast palette, use a plainer typeface with wider spacing, underline every link, and reduce motion. Your choices are saved on your device and apply across the whole site.

To be clear about what that panel is: it adjusts the real site to your preference. It is not an accessibility overlay and it is not what makes the site accessible; the way the pages are built is. Your browser's own zoom and your operating system's accessibility settings keep working as usual.

Known limitations

  • The site has not had an independent audit or formal testing with people who use assistive technology every day. That is the next step.
  • Some older blog posts were migrated from our previous website. Their structure has been tidied, but they were not written with accessibility in mind and may have images without full descriptions.
  • Checkout and payment are provided by Stripe, and appointment-related links go to third parties such as Instagram and Facebook. We do not control their accessibility.
  • Before and after photographs are visual by nature; ask us and we will describe any result by phone or email.

Tell us if something does not work

If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, please tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and what happened. It is the fastest way for us to fix it.

We aim to reply within five business days. In the meantime, everything on this site is available by phone or email, including treatment details, prices and booking.

If you need a reasonable accommodation during a visit, tell us when you book and we will arrange it.
